A letter to your brother, sister or friend explaining him/her about demerits of junk food:

Dear Dipshika,

What's up? You may be amazed to hear from me. It's been a long time since you talked with me after your last letter. Yesterday, I along with my family went to the zoo and there I met your brother Hari. We had chit chat and he was worried about your health because you consume a lot of junk food. So I wrote this letter to make you aware of the demerits of junk food.

Food is essential for the survival of life. There are two types of food: healthy or nutritious food and processed i.e junk food. The foods which are high in calories, fat, protein, caffeine and are mixed with harmful chemicals is called junk food. These foods are available everywhere in grocery stores, fast food resturant etc. In fact, we can say that junk food has become a worldy culture. There are many industuries making junk food. They advertise it which make it more appealing. When we eat these types of food they trigger our brain and make us want more.

When we were in class 5, we had a friend called Ram he was so slim and handsome. But now, he is suffering from obesity and seems ugly because he consumed junk food. He also suffered from other diseases and after he consulted doctor he found that the main cause behind this was junk food. So he became aware and stop eating it. So you also become aware and quit it.

As I already told you there are many industries making junk food. A country economy can be developed by the tax paid by there companies. These foods are cheap and available 24/7 but consuming them causes obesity, heart diseases etc. It destroys children mental staus and memory power and also effect baby if a pregnant women consumes it.

Now you know all the demerits of junk food. If you eat it too much you will be a person with a lot of diseases. If someone is addicted to it then people should do creative things such as making leaflet, yoga eat health food etc. I highly recommend you to stop consuming it and move ahead with these motivational quotes : "Dunk the Junk", "No Junk, Know Health!" and "Fast food = Fast death".
